The cupcake for the card I used this SUGAR BUZZ SET I wanted to use a clipart image instead of a stamp for this card, just to give it a more chic, clean modern look.   

For the paper I used The Sweet Stack paper from JoAnns.  At MyGrafico we have quite a few sweet treat themed clipart that would coordinate with this paper VERY WELL!!

I also used a scallop punch with the card example from JoAnns as well.  Border punches make your cards look great to give it that extra accent!

Time and time again, I see cupcakes being a popular birthday theme, espically when it comes to girls!  Its a great way to have a general sweet theme and being able to get creative with your party decorations as well.

I created this cute birthday invitation from 2 sets of designs from MYGRAFICO.

First of all I used the Baby Shower Cute Backgrounds and Borders designed by JD Digi Designs.  I absloutly LOOOVE this set becasue of the colors and the diversity you get with the set! You can create so many great projects with it, and its fun to mix and match the different patterns. A great addition to this, is it comes with all sorts of borders as well, so it makes a great separation piece when combining papers.

The second set I used in the birthday invitation was this adorable Pink Cutie Cupcakes designed by Kelly Medina.  I was drawn to this set for a couple of reasons.  First of all, its very chic, clean and simple. That alone makes an impact.  Second I really liked that she added faces, it really brings it to life, and it really made the birthday invitation fun and kid friendly.  And of course it being pink!! To Top it off you get three candle accents too!

So as you can see, combining these papers and graphics really came together.  Have some fun and search our shop to find some cool sets to combine as well! I’m sure the result will turn out FAB!
