Fun Teacher’s Notes

School is just around the corner (in three days for us). It is such an exciting time of year for both parents and students. If you have a school-aged child, then invariably, you will have to send a note to the teacher for one reason or another. I love to have pre-designed teacher’s notes ready to hand-write a quick note or compose a note on MS Word for our teacher. It is a time saver and one that is fun!
Check out the example above. You can click on the image to get a closer view. I designed this fun note template in Photoshop CS2 with the fabulous School Kids Set by Ladybug here at MyGrafico. I love this set!
I started out in Photoshop, and opened an 8″x10″ image. I set my design to my taste and then used the backpack design (resized to 200×200 pixels) as a background pattern for this design. After the design was set, I used text to pre-define the text that I knew I would have each time, such as “date” and “to” and “subject”.
After saving my design, the template is ready to go. Be sure to print several copies, so you can hand-write a note at the last minute, if necessary. You can also insert the graphic into MS Word and layer it to the back, so that text can go on top. Then, type in your message and print.
A very easy project that has a lot of uses. Ladybug also has the design in stamp format, to give you more versatility.
