We recently interviewed Roxana, owner of Scrapbooking Season to find out a little more about her life, her inspirations, and her designs.
MyGrafico: How did you get started in the world of digital design?
Scrapbooking Season: As far as I can remember I have always had passion for painting and drawing, and that’s how I got started; playing around with my designs, and trying to figure out how to materialize in a piece of paper the designs I had in my mind. Two years ago I became a digital scrapbooking designer. Scrapbooking helped me to improve my creativity and techniques and when I felt really confident I decided to start selling my art online.
MyGrafico: What do you enjoy most about working as designer?
Scrapbooking Season: What I enjoy the most is the fact that I just love designing. I can design hours and hours and I never get tired, I also love the fact that I feel so comfortable working on my designs, is like from my heart this is what I really want to do.
MyGrafico: Which of your MyGrafico products do you like the best and why?
Scrapbooking Season : I love my latest set of clipping masks, Photo masks Vol III because the design has a word art that really makes the picture “talk”. I also like my overlays specially the set “Rustique overlays”.
MyGrafico: What’s next for you? Are there other types of products you would like to specialize in?
Scrapbooking Season: I specialize in overlays and aged/vintage papers. I will focus on that. MYGRAFICO created a new area, PHOTOGRAPHER TOOLS where I will upload different resources and tools for our photographers such as papers and more effect overlays.
MyGrafico: What do you do in your spare time, outside of digital designing?
Scrapbooking Season :I just love relaxing and watching TV with my husband. I also enjoy searching for cool foodie blogs in the internet and spending our Sundays in San Francisco.
MyGrafico: What inspires you?
Scrapbooking Season :Old world art and new techniques are the source of my inspiration.
