One of our newest designers, Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff, has hit the ground running here at MyGrafico and has not looked back. Lindsay has a very unique style and does it all, from digital stamps, graphics, papers, to hybrids, printables and has even been published in specialty magazines.  We are so happy to have her with us and wanted to share a little more about her with you.

MyGrafico: What is your background and how did you get involved with digital designs?

Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff: I am a painter, so naturally I sketched a lot. I was on the design team for a traditional rubber stamp company and the owner asked to see some of my sketches and then hired me to illustrate some rubber stamps for her. I found that I had many more ideas than could be made into traditional stamps, so I decided to start selling the designs as digital stamps. I liked how I could have an idea in the morning and by lunchtime have a stamp designed and ready for sale, whereas it take months to get a rubber stamp made.

MyGrafico: What is your favorite item that you’ve listed here at MyGrafico?

Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff: I really love the Love Grows Here Digital stamp set, it is so versatile and I simply love Valentines Day.

MyGrafico: You are involved in a lot of different projects. Would you like to tell us about some of them?

Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff: Sure! I love to make stuff, especially 3-D paper crafts such as favor boxes and I really enjoy using my Cricut Machine and SCAL software to do this. Currently I am working on a set of favor boxes that can be cut with a Cricut machine, I think they will be nice for weddings and birthday parties. I really like designing SVG files because they are so versatile. You can make a box any size you want and it is so affordable too (plus it takes no storage space!) I also have some craft projects coming out in magazines. You can see work of mine in the current issues of: Pack of Fun, Rubber Stamp Madness, and Just Cards! And on the cover of Vamp Stamp News is a card of mine using the Love Grows here stamp set!

MyGrafico: What’s next for you?

Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff: I’m going to keep on designing of course! I am slowly plodding away on a book called “The Frugal Crafter”, a recipe book of sorts for everything crafty and I am thinking of turning some of my digital stamps into decorative painting patterns. I am always on the lookout for the next crafty adventure!
