A Gift in a Bottle & 25% off!

Looking for a fun way to package a gift? How about in a bottle? I saw a neat idea from Scrapalette over on the Cricut message board and I had to give it a try! But before I show you how I want to let you know that EVERYTHING in my shop is 25% off through Saturday!
OK, now that’s out-of-the-way on to the fun! I made a “Movie Night in a Bottle” using the 2 liter soda bottle label from the Movie PArty Printable kit:
I put bags of microwave popcorn, movie size candy and fun size candy in the bottle too. I will give this along with some wrapped up DVDs as a Christmas gift. Wanna know how I got everything in that bottle? Take a look…
Neat huh? Here are some tips on the soda bottle project:
- Rinse out the bottle before you cut, then after you cut the hole you can reach through it and dry the inside of the bottle with a paper towel.
- Put in the larger items first then fill in with smaller. You can always drop in really small items or shredded colored paper through the neck of the bottle to fill the top if needed.
- Type info in the printable label before you print for a polished professional look!
- Look in your recycling bin, you may find other cool bottles (like the square juice bottles) that will hold even more!
